How can we help you?

Everything you need to know about entering, the draws, free postal entry, and claiming your prize.

01 How It Works

How do the competitions work?
Pick a competition, answer the skill question, then choose how many tickets you want.

Every entry is given a ticket number. When the competition sells out or reaches its closing date, one ticket is drawn at random and that entrant wins the prize.

Answer the skill question incorrectly and the entry cannot win, so read it carefully before you confirm.
How is the winner chosen?
Once a competition closes, the winning ticket is selected using a random number generator during a live draw on our social channels.

The draw is recorded and the winning ticket number is published on the Winners page afterwards. Nothing is decided behind closed doors.
Do I have to be watching the live draw to win?
No. The draw is streamed so you can watch if you want to, but you do not need to be present. If you hold the winning ticket we contact you directly using the details on your account, so keep your email and phone number up to date.
What can I win?
Each competition page lists the exact prize, which is usually a specific registration. Where a cash alternative is offered it is shown on that page before you enter.

The prize and any cash alternative are fixed at the values shown.
How many tickets can I buy?
Each competition has a total ticket allocation, shown on its page along with how many remain. You can buy as many as you like up to the per - person limit set for that competition.

More tickets means more entries in the draw and a higher chance of winning.
When does a competition close?
A competition closes either when every ticket is sold or when it reaches its published closing date and time, whichever comes first. The closing date is shown on each competition page.

If tickets do not sell out, the draw still goes ahead on the closing date.

02 Entries & Payment

Is there a skill question, and why?
Yes. Every paid entry requires you to answer a multiple - choice question correctly. The question is there because UK law treats a prize draw with no element of skill as a lottery, which we are not licensed to run.

The skill question is what makes these genuine prize competitions rather than a lottery. Entries with an incorrect answer are not entered into the draw.
Can I enter for free?
Yes. There is a free postal entry route for every competition and it has exactly the same chance of winning as a paid ticket. We do not advantage paid entries in any way. See the next question for how to do it.
How do I enter by post?
Send your entry by first or second class post to the address published in the Competition Terms, on an unenclosed postcard or in a sealed envelope.

Include your full name, address, email, date of birth, the name of the competition you are entering, and your answer to the skill question.

Each postcard or envelope counts as one entry. Postal entries must arrive before the competition closes, and entries that miss the skill question or arrive after closing cannot be entered.

Full requirements are in the Competition Terms.
What payment methods do you accept?
Paid tickets are bought through our secure checkout using the standard card and payment options shown at the point of purchase. Your ticket numbers are confirmed on screen and stored in your account.
Will I get my ticket numbers?
Yes. Ticket numbers are assigned at random when your entry is confirmed and are stored in your account immediately. You can see all your entries and ticket numbers you hold on your My Entries page.
Can I get a refund once I have entered?
Entries are final once a competition has been drawn. Before the draw, refunds are handled in line with our Competition Terms. If a competition is cancelled by us, all entry fees paid for that competition are refunded in full.
Who can enter?
You must be 18 or over and a UK resident to enter. We may ask for proof of age and identity before releasing a prize. Entries from anyone under 18 are void.

03 Draws & Prizes

How will I know if I have won?
We contact the winner directly by email and phone using the details on your account, normally within a few days of the draw. The winning ticket number is also posted on the Winners page. Keep your contact details current so we can reach you.
How do I receive my prize?
For a number plate, we arrange the transfer of the registration into your name or onto your chosen vehicle at no extra cost to you. For a cash alternative, payment is made by bank transfer to an account in the winner's name. We confirm the exact steps when we contact you.
How long do I have to claim?
You have the claim period set out in the Competition Terms to respond after we contact you. We make repeated reasonable efforts to reach the winner. If a prize genuinely cannot be claimed within the stated period, we reserve the right to redraw.
What happens if a competition does not sell out?
The draw still takes place on the published closing date among all valid entries received. The prize is awarded regardless of how many tickets were sold, unless the specific competition states otherwise on its page.
Are the draws independent and fair?
Yes. Winners are selected by a random number generator and every draw is recorded and published. Paid and free postal entries have an identical chance of winning. Our full process is set out in the Competition Terms.
Is my data safe?
We only use the details you provide to run the competition, contact winners, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for how we store and handle your information.
I think there is a problem with a competition. What do I do?
Raise a support ticket and we will look into it. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, our Complaints Policy explains how to escalate.
