We're three friends united by a passion for cars and our shared love of private number plates. Over the years we've built up our own collections, each one reflecting our personalities and our love of motoring.

Some of the best plates never reach the open market, or carry a price tag most people will never justify. PlateComps exists to change that. We put standout registrations up as competition prizes so winning one comes down to a ticket and a question, not a five - figure cheque.

We're more than just a business. We're enthusiasts who understand the thrill of landing the perfect plate and the satisfaction of seeing it on your own vehicle.

Why We Started

PlateComps grew out of PlateSeller. Running the marketplace, we kept seeing brilliant plates sit just out of reach for most buyers. A competition felt like the fairest way to put them within reach of everyone, not only those with the deepest pockets.

It mattered to us that it be done properly. Every competition carries a skill question and a genuine free postal entry, the draws are random and streamed live, and the winning ticket is published every time. Run it straight and the experience speaks for itself.

We pick the prizes ourselves, as collectors. If a plate would not earn a place in our own collections, it does not go up as a prize.

Every competition has a free postal entry route with the exact same chance of winning as a paid ticket. No catch, no lesser odds.

Drawn Fairly

Winners are picked by random number generator, streamed live, and the winning ticket is published every time. The draw happens in the open.

Always Awarded

Sold out or not, the draw goes ahead on the closing date and the prize is awarded. No rolling a competition on until it suits us.
